RCEC pays $.50/sq.ft. (up to $1000) for new construction homes that install electric heat pumps or $.45/sq.ft. (up to $1000) for dual fuel heat pumps with a 14 SEER rating.   The consumer will also receive a free 40 gallon electric water heater.   The consumer will then qualify for the "all electric" rate.

Water Heater Conversions

RCEC will give to the consumer a free 40 gallon electric water to convert from gas to electric as well as a $50 credit on their next month's electric bill upon receipt of a billing statement from a qualified contractor to show proof of installation.

Manufactured/Mobile Homes

RCEC will pay $.50/sq.ft. (up to $1000) for manufactured homes that require a new service built by RCEC and are equipped with an electric heat pump or $.45/sq.ft. (up to $1000) for a dual fuel heat pump with a 14 SEER rating.   The consumer will also receive a free 40 gallon electric water heater or cash equivalent if the home is equipped with one.    The consumer would also be eligible for the "all electric rate".
